What is Bullying behaviour?
Bullying is any deliberate action carried out by individuals or groups with the intention of, or which has the effect of, causing distress to the victim. Bullying behaviour is generally persistent, systematic and ongoing giving the bully a sense of power, control or status. It leaves the victim feeling upset, threatened, humiliated and vulnerable. It undermines the victim’s self confidence and causes considerable stress.
