"Hi my name is Jodie Andrews . I started Holy Child in 2008. I’m nearly finished 1st year. I have made loads of friends in first year. Their names are Amanda, Jade ,Cory , Debbie, Hazel and more. My favourite subject is Art because I like to paint and listen to the radio. My favourite teacher is Mr Allen he is very nice and sound. I hate walking up to school because I do be cold and my legs get really sore. The thing I like about the school is it’s bigger than primary school and it has more students and teachers in it. On a Wednesday we get off earlier than primary schools. We get off at 01:05. Well that’s all I have to say about the school it’s a great school"

But after a while I started to prefer secondary. I love the sports there are to do and the subjects you get to choose from like art and Home Economics. When we had our Christmas tests it was grand because for some of them we didn’t have to get up real early some tests were not on till 12.30. The school fete was fun. When the school basketball was on when the students were playing against the teachers it was funny when the teachers came out all dressed up."

"Hi! My name is Eoin Kinch . On the day of the Christmas concert I was really scared.It was my first time in the secondary school talent show. Me and my group of friends were doing an act. At the start of the show we were relaxed. But as each act went on the more nervous we got! We were e to be the fourth act on stage. Act number three was up. At this point we were really nervous. I felt myself shaking but I needed to do this! Act number three finished and we went on stage. I felt energy just shoot up through me and shouted”HELLO SALLYNOGGIN”. Everyone screamed back and that’s when I knew…this is going to be good! When we finished the act everyone said “congrats” there was nothing to be scared about!"

"Alri, My name’s Gavin Brandon. The first day of school I didn’t know anyone. After a week I knew most of the people. I used to get lost around the school but I knew my way around after a while. A few of the teachers are sound! The food is massive especially at big break when we sometimes get hot food. P.E. is a great laugh as well with all of my mates. My favourite subject has to be Art even though I’m not that good at it. The school trips are deadly, we went to Wexford for the day and it was just brilliant. First year, everyone has to go through it, so just get over the fact that you don’t know anyone and any place of the school. Its just one big laugh!"
